Our clinical leadership team includes four highly qualified, licensed professionals with many years of experience.

Mary Gambill, Director of Clinical Services

Mary Gambill holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati, and a B.A. in Human Development from Antioch Midwest.  Ms. Gambill has 20 years of experience in the mental health field working as a Crisis Therapist in a hospital setting, Case Manager in child welfare, and for severely mentally disabled adults in a community mental health setting.  She has worked with children ages 5 to 22 that had severely behaviorally handicap issues and could not attend a traditional school setting. In 2005 Ms. Gambill came to Womanline Counseling Center to take the position of Outreach Educator and over the next several years delivered “I Can Tell”, a sex abuse awareness program, to thousands of children ages 5 to 12 in elementary schools in the Greater Dayton area.  In addition, she taught the “From Day One” program for new parents learning how to care for their infants from birth to age 3 in the community.  Ms. Gambill is licensed in the State of Ohio as an Independent Social Worker with supervisory status.  Since 2007 she has been working as a psychotherapist for Womanline providing individual therapy for adult females, who are dealing with recovery from childhood sexual abuse, rape, relationship issues, eating disorders, and depression, anxiety, trauma, and personality disorders.

Belinda J. Stiles, MA, LISW-S, Child & Adolescent Therapist

Belinda J. Stiles holds a Master of Arts degree from the School of Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.  Ms. Stiles is licensed in the State of Ohio as an Independent Social Worker with supervisory status and a Certified clinical trauma professional.  She has served individuals, couples and families struggling with anxiety, depression, school related behavioral issues; substance abuse, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, gender orientation and sexuality, and HIV/AIDS.  She is an experienced service provider for individuals age 10 years old and upwards into adulthood.  Ms. Stiles believes that “we are all works in progress on a journey towards healing and wellness".

Theresa Arway, R.N., Nursing Services

Theresa Arway has a BA in Human Development from The McGregor School Antioch University and is a graduate of St. Thomas Hospital in Akron, OH. She is a licensed registered nurse in Ohio. In addition to her nursing degree, Theresa holds  an Associate Degree in Mental Health Technology from Sinclair Community College.  Her work experience includes several years at Dettmer Hospital, Troy, OH and at Samaritan Hall, Dayton, OH.  Theresa understands the complex yet delicate work that is required of those suffering with eating disorders as they advance through their physical, relational, mental, and emotional healing.

Ellen Thompson, R.D.N., L.D., Nutritional Services

Ellen, a graduate of South Dakota State University, brings a wealth of experience to our program. Most notably is her work at the Cedarville University student health clinic, where she frequently counseled students with eating disorders.  In addition, she has served as  a wellness speaker for the university faculty and staff, was an adjunct instructor for Sports Nutrition Classes, and instructor for the nursing department for ten years. Other work in the community includes weight loss counseling for a Springfield doctor,  dietitian for a physical therapist, a Food Editor for Healthy Cooking Magazine.

Ellen also consults with assisted living facilities, Clark Memorial Home, and MRDD homes in Greene County.
